best budget robot vacuum cleaner and Mop Systems
This robotic vacuum-mop is an ideal choice for those who live in apartments as it uses a smaller docking system and has its own garbage bin. The application lets you set up different modes and monitor cleans. The mopping feature is also impressive.
Its mapping and obstacle avoidance are impressive, and it mops very well cleaning up pet hair, spillages, and dirt. It also self-empties and cleans and refills its water tank.
Roomba from iRobot Combo
The iRobot Combo includes mopping in addition to the already impressive vacuuming capabilities of the robot. It's not quite enough to take the place of our current Editors' Choice, the Deebot X1 Omni, which offers more cleaning power and an easier-to-use mobile app but it does make an excellent alternative. It consistently picked up dirt from hard floors and carpets. Its obstacle avoidance system isn't the most sophisticated in the world, as it lacks structured light and other features like LiDAR, yet it did a good job of preventing collisions with furniture and clutter.
The Combo has the same smarts as the j7 Plus, including new acoustic sensors onboard to determine floor type and AI-powered navigation, but isn't able to set suction power manually. It's also slightly less compact than the vac-only model and doesn't have a an auto-emptying dock.
In my experience in my experience, the Combo is a fantastic choice for most homes and its sleek design is easily one of the best in the market. The matte black finish is more elegant than the metallic or glossy finishes of the majority of competitors. iRobot also adds some more elegant features, such as the leather tab to open the onboard bin and a shelf to store bags that are not in the dock. The iRobot Combo also allows you to easily create maps of your home, as well as to create Keep-Out Zones and No-Mop Zones and Clean Zones.
Roborock
While Roborock is comparatively new to the robot vacuum and mop market but it's already earned its name due to its suite of innovative cleaning techniques. Its vacuums boast industry-leading suction power, and mopping systems from the company include vibrating mops that help scrub floors to remove dirt. Additionally, a variety of scheduling and mapping options lets you adjust the schedule of cleaning for your specific home.
Another outstanding Roborock feature is obstacle avoidance which allows the robot to see objects smaller than its height. This is particularly beneficial for Roborock's most popular models, like the Qrevo Master. It is the best of its kind in terms of navigation, thanks to both vSLAM and LiDAR. Other Robovacs are notorious for hitting furniture and run over pet faeces without noticing but the Qrevo Master solves this issue by using an AI system called Reactive that uses twin cameras to perceive objects in a room.
Roborock robots come with a range of features that make it easier to manage maintenance. These include docks that are auto-emptied and mop-washing stations with multiple functions. These features eliminate the need to empty dustbins or wash mops manually, allowing for a truly hands free ownership experience. Additionally the app's simple design and seamless connection to the robot makes it easy to use.
Hobot Legee D8

Hobot Legee, with its wide range of integrated cleaning features and advanced mopping capabilities is among the top robot vacuums and mops for wet and dry floors. Its advanced navigation system blends five technologies to plan and follow a path that is the most efficient. It can also identify different flooring materials and identify obstacles with pinpoint accuracy. It can lift itself up to 7mm to glide over carpets. The intelligent spray system uses the appropriate amount of water to wash away staining without leaving ugly water marks.
The Legee is a Gen 4 robot that competes directly with the Eufy Robovac X9 and Ecovacs Deebot T20, both of which are more expensive. It is more feature-rich than either, including the more flexible D-shaped body that cleans the corners and under cabinets better than a round one. Its sensors include 360deg (3D) (Lidar Encoder Gyro and E-compass), 4 forward-facing and 1 right-side-facing (IR ToF distance sensors) and two pairs of cliff detectors, front and rear (most robots only have one pair). Additionally, it has Legee SLAM, which helps to reduce the bump-and-grind issues that cause problems for Gen 4 Robots.
The Legee is different from other robots because it has a trash compactor built-in and uses the quieter 5 GHz band of Wi-Fi. The included LuLu mop cleaning station washes, refills, and dries the mop 'cloth'. You can use the mop up to six times longer than other mops. It also reduces waste and frequency of bin emptying.
Karcher RCV 5
Karcher is known for its pressure washers and gardening tools is also experimenting with robot vacuums for some time. This is the most tech-savvy model from the brand. It creates maps of your home using LiDAR, and can be programmed to mop or vacuum. It can also distinguish between carpets and hard floors, so you don't get water puddles on your pile.
Its navigation is superb that can avoid furniture or rugs easily. It can even raise itself over steps. The machine can be customised by adjusting a range of settings including cleaning schedules and the rooms it must be cleaning. It has an emergency button' that causes the robot to return home if its power goes out. It can be set to shut off automatically when the threat of storms is imminent.
The RCV 5 is easy to use and, although quite heavy at almost 4kg, it's not difficult to manoeuvre around furniture. Those with small children will appreciate the safety features such as sensors that warn it to stay clear of stairs. Once fully charged it takes only a few hours to recharge and the two buttons on the top will turn green to let you know it's ready to go.
Mova E30 Ultra
The Mova E30 Ultra is a robot vacuum cleaner that balances modern cleaning technology and affordability. It's a rival to models such as the Dreame L10 Ultra or Roborock's top-selling Q Revo. Despite its price being lower, the Mova E30 Ultra offers features that more expensive models can't match. It uses sensors to alter its settings to suit different floors and surfaces, as well as to identify areas that are more prone to dirt and ensure they get enough attention. It can also move at slow speeds to avoid damage to delicate furniture and walls.
The device can help you map your home's interior and display it in the app. You can also mark specific rooms and objects you would like the vacuum to avoid. The vacuum will slow down when it spots an obstacle and prevent itself from bumping into it. It also has a smart dustbins that notify you when it's full, so you can empty it in time.
The Mova E30 Ultra offers a cost-effective option for those looking to outsource their daily cleaning tasks. It doubles as a robot vacuum and mop, allowing you to keep your floors clean without having to lift a finger. It also has a clever design that boosts the efficiency of cleaning corners by as much as 60%. It can hold up to 7000 Pa of suction power as well as RoboSwing arms, and it can be controlled via the app or voice assistants like Alexa or Siri.
Beko RCV3
The Beko Robotic Vacuum/Mop RCV3 is an elegant, feature-packed vacuum and mop. It does a great job at keeping floors neat and tidy. It's not able to lift its mops to clean carpets and rug as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV ultra, however, it is extremely effective at cleaning hard floors. It comes with a self-emptying bin, a high level of suction, an array of mopping options, and a high-quality app that works both on iOS and Android.
It's smaller than its competitors and its main brush is shorter however, it did a quick job in our test room. The revolving edge brush on the side is a nice feature. While it didn't remove dirt as effectively as other competitors, it performed well.
The robot can be programmed to have individual cleaning parameters for each room. It can then create detailed maps using LiDAR's built-in navigation. The application is simple to use and offers an array of options for voice output that can keep you updated on the status of your robot. Regular software updates improve and improve the performance. The app is able to remotely control the RCV3 even when you're not at home.
